Yesterday I was able to purchase my train ticket to North Carolina so that I can collect my recording equipment and merchandise printing materials. I want to deeply thank everyone who has shown support and care!
I want to take this opportunity to ask for everyone's new shipping addresses since it's been a long while since some of you made your original purchases. To people who are keeping up with me closely online and want their merch orders right away, please contact me ASAP at: contact@bulldogeyes.com
I'm handling this first wave of outgoing orders "first come, first served" to make sure that nothing gets lost due to outdated shipping information. I want to handle this as fairly as possible for the people who've shown me support. Even if you made a purchase as far back as 2015/2016 and didn't get your tape or shirt, please do not hesitate to reach out!
I intend to prioritize everyone who contacts me with new shipping addresses along with any orders made in the last three months. This will help me ensure that none of your orders get lost in the mail or sent to wrong addresses.
If you've been wanting a tape or shirt and have been waiting to buy, now is definitely the best time! I'll be prioritizing the fulfillment of merchandise orders over all other music related activity for right now.
I want to apologize again to everyone that I've hurt or disappointed and thank everyone listening, believing in what I'm doing as a musician, showing appreciation, showing patience, and contributing to my art project. I've been able to survive so many hardships in the last few years because of you all. I know I've lashed out online or shown my anger and frustration in ways that are uncool or unfair. I'm working on myself very seriously and want to show my genuine appreciation to a group of engaging listeners that I'm learning now are actually incredibly understanding.
Please hit me up as soon as possible if you're missing a tape or shirt! You will be at the top of my list of outgoing orders as long as you can provide proper shipping information. I'm sorry again to have kept people waiting this long and to have left people feeling so distanced or disappointed.
I would like everyone to know that I make these cassettes and shirts myself at home as a part of my creative practice, since I am a visual artist as well as a musician. I finished my last serious full length using a reel-to-reel tape machine that was made in 1964. I have a four-slot cassette duplicating machine that allows me to print these tapes en masse. I design, print and cut my j-cards myself. I design and create the screens I use to print t-shirts myself.
In 2021, I was ripped off by a company that sold me a broken UV lamp through Amazon. I paid for the shipping materials and paid the post office in NYC to return the lamp after this company told me they'd send me a new one if I could return the broken one. The store was closed just six weeks later and I never received another lamp. I ended up losing $300 altogether after Amazon refused to refund me for the original purchase because I no longer had the lamp in my possession. This was the start of a huge chain of financial losses that have been beyond difficult for me to recover from.
An ultraviolet lamp is vital to my newly upgraded screen-printing process that uses UV-reactive paint. This is how I create the stencils that I use to print my shirt designs by hand. I can't wait to start printing shirts! I'd finished creating my screens the night before suddenly having to put my things in storage and leave Carolina after dealing with a few different crooked landlords and property managers for years.
I have bags of mailers and all of the paint I need to print shirts. I have huge bags of cassettes that are already burned, boxed, separated by release and ready to be shipped! I'll also be able to collect my wind instruments as well as my electric guitar and pedal setup, so be ready to hear something interesting and intense in the next few months.
Thank you so much for listening!
I'm sorry to have to exclude vinyl orders for right now, since I am dealing with some kind of bureaucracy issue. In February 2023, a record store offered to print 500 copies of the "asleep ep" and give me 200 for free. They told me the records would be printed that August. I'm doing my best to resolve this issue with a representative of this record store group. I'm beyond grateful for people's interest in the record. These vinyl records will be seriously amazing and I will start shipping as soon as I can get my hands on them.
Thank you all for your understanding!
